Laserpower post part 5 - Backgrounds
Laserpower post part 4 - More characters and creatures!
Apparently Solid Snake does not like to partaaaaay.
laugh-lucy-laugh asked: What kind of tablet do you use? Your artwork is amazing! :-)
Thank you!! <3 I’ve been using a Cintiq 13hd for a few months now, before that an Intuos 2. (:
Drawing game from summer school:
Do an illustration for a colouring book with these two random words.
I got Rabauke und Hoppala, that is like “rascal” and “whoops” in german.
ps: i love opossums…they have the best faces.
More drawing challenge! Topic was “Queens”. So naturally: Beyonce.
Sparkly superhero Queen Bey, because that one gif set from the MTV Awards with Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s speech was flooding my dash and i just had to draw it. Mucho love Original gif set from the MTV Awards is here!
We finally got our drawing challlenge going (yay summer break)!
Topic was “Zombies” and since i started playing "Zombies, Run!" a few months ago i had to do some fanart. I freaking love that game. x3
So yea me as Runner 5 in Zombie Apokalypse mode! Bow down undead mofos! xD
Laserpower post part 3 - Cover Design
Sketches for the “99” single cover, some alternative versions and the final at the bottom. (the typography was done by allerzeiten, with some paint-over by me)
The version with the asteroids was cool, but we decided on the version with just the beams, because the cover had to also be readable at a small thumbnail size and this composition felt less cluttered.
Laserpower behind the scenes part 2 - Character Design!
First colour sketches, key frames etc. and the final version of the two main characters, Max Power and Cpt. Laser. Gameboy tshirts ftw!
Laserpower behind the scenes part 1 - Research and sketchbook pages!
I wanted to share some more process stuff etc of the music video, also because some peeps asked me about it.
Had sooo much fun researching all those old 90ies toys and clothes and neon colour schemes and video games and what-not.
Nintendo powerglove, ugh so cool XD And does anyone of you remember Flat Eric?
On the second pic you can see the first tiny doodle of the two main characters.
More lookbook challenge stuff! Reference!
…soooo we started doing this lookbook character sketch thing because we wanted to do some drawing challenges again.
Look at Jelena’s entry here!
I set my timer for 30min but got carried away as usual X) Reference is here!
